Bodyache Noise Works

Founded in 2018 Bodyache, a transsexual experimental musician/visual artist from Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand begun as cartharsis in the form of noisegrind by my teenage self being heavily inspired by Grindcore, noise music and industrial with 2018s "Vehement Suffering". Following that multiple split EPs with CARMADEOFGLASS, HALLUCINOGENIC BULB and Goth Girl and CHRISTWOUND.

This continued with 2021s "Demonstration of Intent" an album made as a celebration of all things noisegrind and to mark the end of this era.

In 2023 with the release of Bodyache's second self titled full length embracing the departure and growth by stripping back the violence and incorporating ambient and drone while exploring emotions of feeling lost and coming to terms with yourself during transitional periods and accepting that you have changed.

I wish to continue pushing the limits between noise and emotions in 2025.
